The roots of Özyer Group can be traced back to 1948, when the foundations were laid in Fethiye, Turkey. Süleyman Özyer, the founder of Melden Group, started his journey with his family business Özyer Group, which initially operated a store in the textile and jewelry sectors. Over time, Özyer Group expanded its investments in jewelry, tourism, construction, real estate, and energy sectors, becoming one of the largest brands in the region and continuing to provide services in these sectors.
Global Collaborations
Özyer Group also establishes its presence in the international arena through collaborations with global brands. These collaborations enable the group to offer services in line with international standards in the sectors it operates. One of the significant brands in Özyer Group’s portfolio is the luxury and comfort hotel brand called “Liberty,” which is known for providing unforgettable experiences to its guests.
From Generation to Generation...
Süleyman Özyer, the Chairman of Melden Group and one of the three shareholders of Özyer Group, has been actively involved in business since 1989. Within the group, he has been engaged in hotel investments, operations, energy project development, and real estate development. Hasan, Faruk, and Süleyman Özyer, the three brothers, have expanded the group’s activities and established separate group companies with independent investments in their respective sectors. Hasan Özyer and his children founded Hanel Group, Faruk Özyer and his children established Fabay Group, and Süleyman Özyer and his children continue their activities under the umbrella of Melden Group.
